Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express and Solo cards all via Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account in order to make a purchase as you can do one off payments using the secure server. When you checkout Paypal will provide an option to pay for non-Paypal customers. When you initially go through to the payment page and it asks you to log in you can scroll to the bottom of the page and it has a link called Pay with a debit or credit card which you can click on. The Paypal site and payment system is 100% secure and has the padlock sign in the search bar to assure you of this. 

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake. 

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling 

All orders are shipped the next working day after placing your order & subject to payment card authorisation.

UK Delivery 

  • Cards Standard Delivery: Standard Delivery is £1.20 | Expedited Delivery is £1.27
  • Cards Signed For Delivery: Standard Signed For is £2.30 | Expedited Signed For is £2.37
  • All other Standard Delivery items start at £2.85 (Standard) or £3.95 (Signed For) and will arrive in 3-5 working days
  • All other Expedited Delivery items start at £3.35 (Standard) or £4.45 (Signed For) and will arrive in 1-3 working day
  • All postage costs will be stated clearly at the checkout
  • FREE Super Saver Delivery is applied to all UK orders over £20.00 and will arrive in 3-5 working days
  • Deliveries to remote areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and other offshore locations may take additional time for delivery

PRE-ORDER ITEMS (UK)

Some of our items are available for Pre-Order. If an item is available for Pre-Order it will be clearly labelled as such. Please note if you place an order for a Pre-Order item along with other in-stock items the in-stock items will be delivered at the same time as the pre-order item. If the Pre-Order item is worth £20.00 and the in-stock items are worth £20.00 and you would like the in-stock items delivering first please contact us at sales@thepaperparlour.co.uk and we will arrange this for you (UK customers only). 

 

Europe & Worldwide Delivery 

  • We offer fast delivery to a wide range of global destinations

  • Delivery period will depend on local postal services, but will typically take from 7-14 days from placing your order

You can chose from either the International Standard or International Tracked Service. Please note the International Tracked service is always at least £5.00 more expensive than the Standard service but will also cover you for loss and damage. These charges only include delivery; therefore non-EU customers will be responsible for import duties and local taxes. 

PRE-ORDER ITEMS (Europe & Worldwide Delivery)

Some of our items are available for Pre-Order. If an item is available for Pre-Order it will be clearly labelled as such. Please note if you place an order for a Pre-Order item along with other in-stock items the in-stock items will be delivered at the same time as the pre-order item. 

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will backorder for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security

 When the order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy The Paper Parlour do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' (in Internet Explorer) and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund minus the delivery fee which is non-refundable. Do this by contacting us by email and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. We do not refund postage charges incurred in returning your item unless you are returning the item because we sent you an item incorrectly or it is faulty. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

PLEASE MAKE SURE you check your item thoroughly before writing in it. If a fault is detected after an item has been written in we cannot acept the item back.

If your item is not faulty it must be returned 'as new' with all packaging intact for a full refund minus the delivery charge. We are unable to accept items for return once they have been opened or used.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.


Returning an item

To return an item please package it carefully, pay the postage costs and pack a copy of your original invoice details. Items are your responsibility until received by us so we recommend you use a recorded delivery service. If a return is the result of our mistake we will also refund your return postage charges.

If you don't have your original invoice to hand please write your order number and email address clearly on a separate piece of paper and include this with your return so that we can trace your original order.
