I know its a bit early but we have some new 2012 Weekly Planners from Papaya Art. They are called Asian Peony and Eiffel Tower and they are really beautiful diaries with lots going on inside.

I love all the work by Adolie Day. One of my favourite illustration books is called Sweet Illustration by Monsa and Adolie along with some other amazing artists feature in it. I had been looking for this book for months. It is continually out of stock with Amazon and then I randomly found it at a newspaper shop in Barcelona airport. I was over the moon.

Some of my other favourites who are in the book are Camilla Derricio for her crazy and colourful pieces. I found the following images on her site as these ones do not feature in the book but I think they are weirdly cute.

Now I know email is the popular form of communication between friends and family these days but I must say getting a hand written letter is not only a great way of considered communication but it also shows thought and effort. You have to think about each word before committing to it and then try your darnedest to do your neatest possible handwriting!

Wakey wakey! Spring is most definitely in the air and it is time to come out of our Winter Hibernation. I see blue bells, blossom and daffodils everywhere! I actually saw my first bee of the year today, so with this in mind I think it only right that we spare a post for this glorious card below.  The Bees Knees card has the sweetest little verse on it and is one of our favourite new additions here at The Paper Parlour.
