Louis Icart

Amazingly I have only just come across the work of French artist Louis Icart. Incredibly after World War II his work was almost forgotten about until the 1970's when some of his first paintings were found in the attic of a Paris Art School. I love Art Deco style and the subtle colour palette in these paintings below but more importantly who does not love a miniature elephant!
